Historical Monuments in Johnson City

Lots of energy is spent by leftists trying to tear down old racist historical monuments and memorials and namesakes. I sympathize with wanting to be rid of that nonsense. I can't stand it either. What I don't understand is why there isnt a bigger effort to praise the folks who did well in face of the racism. These pics show the historical record of folks who succeeded despite the obstacles. You also see the remnants of a community that isnt there anymore and that has changed.
